The Academies of Sciences of Belarus and Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Science and Technology Cooperation
The document was signed by the leaders of the two organizations, Vladimir Karanik and Shavkat Ayupov.
The signing ceremony took place today in the presence of the leaders of the two states in Minsk.
The document covers a wide range of priority areas of mutual interest.
Key areas include physics, biology and biotechnology, chemistry and chemical technology, nanotechnology, new materials, medicine, pharmacy, and artificial intelligence.
The signed agreement also provides for the exchange of experience and scientific and technical information for research purposes.
In addition, the parties intend to consider opportunities for joint implementation of scientific and innovative projects, as well as organize competitions to support fundamental and applied research.
