A working meeting with representatives of Chinese Sinopharmtech and Shanghai EDA Medical & Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

Representing the Belarusian side, the discussion was attended by Alexander Bildyukevich, Director of the Institute of Physical Organic Chemistry; Alexander Shepshelev, Head of the Institute of Microbiology; and Svetlana Kasyanchik, Deputy Academician and Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Sciences.
The key topic of discussion was the capabilities of Shanghai EDA Medical & Pharmaceutical Technology in advanced processing of agricultural products.
Chinese companies showcased their expertise in the production of starch, amino acids, and sugar products.
Furthermore, comprehensive industrial solutions were discussed, ranging from the implementation of energy-efficient combined heat and power plants and wastewater treatment systems to the supply of high-tech equipment and high-quality pharmaceutical raw materials.
The parties agreed to thoroughly examine the proposed initiatives and continue the dialogue via videoconference, where experts will discuss specific projects and areas for further cooperation.
