The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and CITIC Construction signed a cooperation roadmap
Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Karanik held a working meeting today with Vice President of CITIC Construction Liang Jie, at which they discussed issues of scientific support for the development of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of promptly fulfilling their obligations.
Vladimir Karanik noted the high level of openness of Chinese specialists, which enables Belarusian scientists to more quickly immerse in the specifics of the processes and, in the future, independently ensure the technological development of production. According to him, preliminary laboratory studies indicate that the BNBC's potential for finished product output may exceed current levels.
"We're deeply immersed in the specifics of our processes to take the plant to the brand new level of efficiency," emphasized Vladimir Karanik. "Our shared goal is to make BNBC a benchmark project that both Belarus and China can be proud of, and which will become another shining example of successful bilateral cooperation."
In turn, Liang Jie noted the high level of qualifications and in-depth knowledge of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus' scientists in the fields of biotechnology and amino acid production. He also confirmed the willingness of Chinese specialists to provide the Belarusian side with scientific, methodological, and project support to improve the BNBC's operations.
Following the meeting, the NAS of Belarus and CITIC Construction signed a roadmap for cooperation and teamwork. The document was signed by Deputy Chairman of the Presidium Alexey Trukhanov and the company`s Vice President Liang Jie.
The document defines the direction of joint work for the near future. The emphasis is on deep transfer of competencies, conducting scientific research, and implementing advanced solutions in production.
