Preparations for the meeting of the Russian-Belarusian Expert-Advisory Council on History were discussed in Minsk
Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vyacheslav Danilovich held a working meeting today with Nikolai Ovsienko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Directorate for State Policy in the Humanitarian Sphere of the Russian Federation.
During the working meeting, preparations were discussed for the sixth meeting of the Russian-Belarusian Expert Advisory Council on History, aimed at strengthening cooperation in historical science between the two countries.
During the meeting, an awards ceremony took place: Academician of the NAS of Belarus Alexander Kovalenya and Director of the Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus Vadim Lakiza were awarded letters of gratitude from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for preserving historical truth. Alexander Kovalenya also received a Certificate of Honor from the Russian Military Historical Society.
The Russian delegation's itinerary includes a visit to Gorodishche village in Minsk district and a tour of the ancient Russian city on the Menka River.
