The ceremonial launch of the 16th season of the national youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus" took place at the Academy of Sciences, alongside a foresight discussion "Youth of Belarus: Science and Innovation"

About 120 people from across the republic are participating in the meeting.

Opening the event, Vitaly Zalessky, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences, emphasized that the project has long since outgrown the scope of an ordinary competition.

In fact, this is a full-fledged ecosystem: together with Belarusian Republican Youth Union, state regulators participate - the State Committee for Science and Technology, the Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Education.

He also noted that the youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus" offers young people an opportunity to showcase their talents. It gives boundless imagination and provides a chance to present ideas, discover something new, build connections, and explore commercial mechanisms.

“Young people always come with their own ideas. They don't do it the way we do. And this does not mean at all that it is worse. We want to believe that they are doing better,” said Vitaly Zalessky. Over the years of the existence of “100 Ideas for Belarus”, over 21 thousand applications have been received. Moreover, more than 3 thousand projects have already been implemented. Today, these developments are successfully working for the benefit of industry, the education system and the real sector of the economy.
