On November 27–28, 2024, the NAS of Belarus hosted a scientific and practical seminar on the Topical Issues of the Poultry Processing Industry and the Development of the Poultry and Poultry Products Market. The event was attended by scientists from the Department of Agrarian Sciences of the NAS of Belarus, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, the Republican Centre for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health, the National Centre of Intellectual Property and other organizations of the country. Piotr Kazakievich, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, took part in the seminar.

The seminar discussed topical issues of the poultry processing industry and the development of the poultry and poultry products market. Among them: poultry farming in the Republic of Belarus: the current state, an overview of the world poultry industry; the main trends in the world market of poultry processing products; the current issues of technical regulation; the contribution of scientists to increasing the poultry meat production: feeding, breeding; innovative developments in the field of poultry processing, etc. The organizer of the event is the Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry.
