The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Prosecutor General’s office of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus hold a competition for the best idea (scientific work, means of visual agitation) to prevent crimes and corruption (hereinafter referred to as the competition). Objectives of the competition: straightening the role of science in ensuring law and order; development of scientific foundations for combating crimes and corruption.
The competition is held in one stage from February 15, 2021 to December 3, 2021.
Terms of the competition:
from February 15, 2021 to September 15, 2021 – submission of materials to the competition;
from September 16, 2021 to November 1, 2021 – expert evaluation of competition materials;
from November 2, 2021 to December 3, 2021 – summing up and solemn awarding of the winners of the competition.
The competition is held in the following nominations:
- “Best publication”;
- “The best means of visual agitation”.
The following categories are distinguished in the nomination “Best publication”:
- “Best monograph”;
- “Best thesis for an academic degree Candidate of Law”;
- “Best textbook or study guide”;
- “Best scientific article”;
- “Best scientific publication of a young scientist”.
The following categories are distinguished in the nomination “The best means of visual agitation”:
- “Best video”;
- “Best poster”.
The following competitive materials are being prepared for participation in the nomination “Best publication”:
an application in accordance with Appendix 3;
the original of the printed publication in which the work was published (a monograph, collection of scientific works, periodicals, etc.), or a photocopy of the publication with the attached title page and the content of the publication;
publication abstract.
an application in accordance with Appendix 4;;
visual agitation tool in the form of a digital poster or video up to 60 seconds;
visual agitation tool abstract.
Printed materials for the competition must be published by the author (co-authors) in the Republic of Belarus no earlier than 2017.
