Honored Scientist of the Republic of Belarus (2004).
Scientific research on the organization of management and managerial labor in agriculture, the efficiency of the use of the productive potential of agricultural enterprises, the organization and effective functioning of the agrarian market economic mechanism. Investigates questions of the theory, methodology and practice of agrarian reform and the formation in the AIC of a developed system of market relations. Studies the mechanism of self-supporting and cooperative relations in agriculture, develops theoretical foundations and practical models of economic and economic calculation in agricultural enterprises, mechanisms, methods and techniques for the effective functioning of the agricultural complex, principles and models of the scientific organization of the agroindustrial complex, methods and mechanisms for ensuring the country's food security. One of the main authors and scientific leaders of a number of concepts and programs for the reform and development of the country's agro-industrial complex in the new conditions, including the State Program for the Renaissance and Development of the Village for 2005-2010 and the State Program for the Sustainable Development of the Village for 2011-2015.
Author of more than 700 scientific papers, including 22 monographs and books and more than 200 brochures and recommendations.
Awarded with the Order of St. Kirill of Turov (2011), Order of Merit, III degree (2013, Ukraine). Honorary Citizen of the Chechersk District of the Gomel Region (2011).
