Boris Mikhailovich Khrustalev (b. 21.7.1947, Gomel), a scientist in the field of mechanical engineering. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2009; corresponding member since 2004), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1998), Professor (1991). Honored Education Worker of the Republic of Belarus (1995).
Scientific works in the field of the theory of aerodynamics of dispersed flows, design methodologies of devices and systems that allow the use of resource-saving technologies for cleaning ventilation emissions, methods for designing and calculating drying systems, creating the necessary microclimate for human life and the necessary parameters to ensure high-quality technological process at enterprises of engineering, construction and other industries. High-performance automated systems for the pneumatic transport of materials, machines and devices for cleaning technological emissions, resource-saving environmentally friendly technologies in engineering and construction have been created under his scientific leadership.
Author of more than 150 scientific papers, incl. 3 monographs, 3 textbooks, 10 inventions.
