Nikolay Pavlovich Krutko (и. 20.05.1949, м. Lyaskovichi, Oktyabr district, Gomel region.), a scientist in the field of physical and colloid chemistry. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2009; corresponding member since 1994), Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1991), Professor (2003).
He heads the scientific school on colloid chemistry and physicochemical mechanics. They developed ideas about the binder, flocculating and water-repellent effect of oil, polymer and surface-active modifiers in dispersions of salts and minerals, the mechanism of their influence on the formation of the condensation-crystallization structure of alkali halides polycrystals. The results of the study formed the basis for the development of new technologies for the production and use of mineral fertilizers at Belaruskali.
Investigated the kinetics and mechanism of the catalytic decomposition of hydrocarbons, proposed new efficient catalytic systems that increase the yield of low molecular weight olefins in the process of pyrolysis of hydrocarbon raw materials. his leadership has developed a scientific basis for the production of cationic bitumen emulsions, which ensured the widespread introduction in Belarus of energy and resource-saving production technologies and the use of new materials for the repair and maintenance of roads.
Author of more than 380 scientific papers, including 3 monographs, 87 inventions.
State Prize of the BSSR in 1990 for the development and implementation of potash fertilizer production technology with improved physical and agrochemical properties.
Awarded with the Order of Honor (2004). Awarded with the title of Honored Scientist (2014).
