Alexander Petrovich Laskovnev (b. 23.03.1949, v. Rossony, Vitebsk region), a scientist in the field of Materials Science. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2014; corresponding member since 2009), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (2004).
Scientific works in the field of materials science, composite materials, powder metallurgy, casting of aluminum alloys. He made a significant contribution to the development of the theory and technological foundations of low-waste production of composite materials using aluminum powders. For the first time, he proved the fundamental possibility of obtaining composite silumin with a high silicon content and inclusions of particles that do not form chemical compounds with a matrix alloy and have a layered structure (graphite, molybdenum disulfite) by pressure treatment. Developed a range of porous materials obtained on the basis of liquid-phase sintering of aluminum alloy powders of large fractions, physico-chemical principles of creating a protective film on the bottom of the piston and the combustion chamber of the piston of the internal combustion engine, which allowed to increase the survivability of a diesel engine 2.5-3 times.
Author of more than 150 works, incl. 2 monographs, 30 copyright certificates and patents.
Awards of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus in 2002, 2003 and 2006.
