BULGAK Alexander Grigorievich

Alexander Grigorievich Bulgak (b. 02.03.1958, Slutsk, Minsk region) - cardiologist. Corresponding Member (2017), Doctor of Medical Sciences (2003), Professor (2005).

Scientific work on the problems of diagnosis and treatment in cardiology. Investigated the effect of ultrasound on the heart, meteorological factors on the occurrence of paroxysms of atrial fibrillation in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Conducted research related to the diagnosis of coronary artery disease and the features of management of patients with coronary artery disease and atrial fibrillation. He studied the features of cardiohemodynamics, heart rate variability in case of poisoning with psychotropic drugs, in acute cerebral infarction, in patients with myeloma. Conducted research on the development mechanisms of local and distant ischemic myocardial preconditioning and conditioning, problems related to the study of sleep apnea syndrome, its effect on cardiac rhythm disturbances, blood pressure, hormonal status.

Author of more than 300 scientific papers.
