KABASHNIKOVA Lyudmila Fedorovna

Lyudmila Fedorovna Kabashnikova (b. 31.08.1956, v. Priluki, Minsk district) - a scientist in the field of biophysics and plant biochemistry. Corresponding Member (2017), Doctor of Biological Sciences (2009), Associate Professor (2003).

Research on molecular-membrane biophysics and biochemistry of cultivated plants, the development of adaptive and diagnostic technologies for agriculture. Established the patterns of formation and functioning of the photosynthetic apparatus (PSA) of cereals at different levels of system organization and stages of the ontogenetic development of plants under the action of stress factors. She developed the concept of increasing the productivity and stability of cereal plants based on the optimization of the structural and functional state of PSA. Identified molecular mechanisms for the formation of agricultural plant immunity, developed and introduced into production biophysical methods for diagnosing phytopathogenesis and methods for protecting plants in greenhouses, innovative techniques for presowing treatment of seeds of agricultural crops with film-forming protective-stimulating compounds.

Author of over 270 scientific papers, including 3 monographs, 5 patents.

Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2013) for the series of works “Chlorophyll biosynthesis system and photosynthetic apparatus as factors for increasing the sustainability and productivity of agricultural crops”.
