Viktor Alexandrovich Snezhitsky (b. 22.10.1959, v. Gornostaevichi, Svisloch district, Grodno region) - a scientist in the field of cardiology. Corresponding Member (2014), Doctor of Medical Sciences (2006), Professor (2008). Excellence in Healthcare of the Republic of Belarus (2007).
The main scientific works are devoted to the study of electrophysiological aspects of the formation of bradyarrhythmias, neurovegetative regulation of cardiac activity in arrhythmias, endothelial dysfunction, elastic-elastic properties of arteries during atrial fibrillation, and their interrelationships; oxygen transport function of blood in atrial fibrillation, development of methods for diagnosing and predicting complications in patients with heart disease, studying the circadian rhythms of cardiac performance, development and implementation of the technology of using physical factors (laser irradiation of blood, autohemomagnetic therapy) in the treatment of heart disease. Developed 17 new methods of medical care (diagnosis and treatment), participated in the development of 4 national guidelines for the treatment of circulatory system diseases.
Author of more than 560 scientific papers, including 16 monographs and books, 12 textbooks, 35 patents.
Awarded with the Francisk Skaryna Medal (2014), other medals.
