BUDEVICH Ivan Ivanovich

Ivan Ivanovich Budevich (b. 25.12.1940, Lida, Grodno region), a scientist in the field of biotechnology in animal husbandry. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2003), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Belarus (1996-2002), Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1992), Professor (1996).

Scientific works in the field of biotechnology, reproduction of farm animals, biotechnology, reproduction of cattle. He carried out comprehensive studies of the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of biotechnology of embryo transplantation in dairy and beef cattle breeding, which significantly speeds up the creation of highly productive herds of desired genotypes. Based on the study of the influence of various biological, technological factors, the hormonal and biochemical status of the organism of animals, the study of metabolism, they offered a theoretical justification and carried out a comprehensive development of the most advanced methods of obtaining, storing and transplanting biomaterial, which are the main links in the process of transplantation of cattle embryos.

Author of more than 170 scientific papers, 15 copyright certificates and patents.
