Kazimir Pavlovich Buslov (25.10.1914, v. Koshelevo, Buda-Koshelev district, Gomel region – 20.01.1983), philosopher. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1972; Corresponding Member since 1969), Doctor of Philosophical Sciences (1965), Professor (1966). Honored Scientist of the BSSR (1978).
Scientific works are devoted to historical materialism, problems of social progress, humanism and culture. Under his leadership, books have been prepared and published analyzing social changes in the working class, peasantry and intelligentsia of Belarus in the process of socio-economic transformations. Developed problems of social progress, freedom and individual responsibility in the conditions of a socialist society.
Published more than 60 scientific papers, incl. 4 monographs.
State Prize of the BSSR in 1984 for a series of works on the history of philosophy and social thought in Belarus before the pre-October period.
Awarded with the Order of the October Revolution (1974), medals.
