GOLUSHKO Vasily Mikhailovich

Vasily Mikhailovich Golushko (b. 15.05.1936, v. Domontovichi, Kopyl district, Minsk region - 09.07.2021), a scientist in the field of animal husbandry. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2003), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Belarus (1994-2002), Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1992), Professor (1993).

Scientific work in the field of feeding farm animals and feed technology, the industrial production of animal feed and complex feed additives. Developed the norms of feeding highly productive animals in breeding and commodity farms. Improved the system of energy-protein feeding repair and fattened young pigs. Contributed to the improvement of the structure of fodder production, improving the quality of grass feeds due to their multiple use, self-sufficiency of animal husbandry of the republic with fodder protein. Developed highly effective recipes of animal feed, protein-vitamin-mineral supplements and premixes with maximum use of local feed, natural and secondary resources, amino acids, vitamins of the new generation, probiotics and prebiotics, enzymes.

Author of more than 360 scientific papers, incl. 6 monographs, 2 textbooks, 17 inventions and patents.
