In memory of the scientist :: ILYUSHIN Ivan Makarovich

Ivan Makarovich Ilyushin (01.07.1903, v. Prokshenichi, Mogilev district – 05.10.1997), philosopher. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1950). Candidate of Philosophical Sciences (1946).

— Graduated from Belarusian State University (1930).
— Since 1932 - Senior Researcher, Academic Secretary of the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR and at the same time - Lecturer at universities in Minsk.
— Since 1937 - Head of the Department of the Belarusian Institute of Physical Culture and Head of the Department of the Belarusian State University.
— In 1941-1943 - Assistant Professor, Head of the Department of the Tashkent Financial and Economic Institute, Head of the Department of the Bukhara Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan.
— Since 1943 - Deputy Head of the department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, since 1944 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR, Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Balshavik Belarusi".
— Since 1947 - Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Law, Chief Scientific Secretary of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR.
— In 1951-1961 - Minister of Education of the BSSR.
— In 1962-1975 - Head of the Department of the Minsk Radio Engineering Institute.
— Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1947-1963.

Works on the ideological heritage of the classics of Marxism-Leninism on the theory of knowledge and the national question, the practice of implementing the national policy in the USSR, the development of public education in the BSSR, the dialectics of national and international in solving the national question.

Author of about 50 scientific papers, incl. 2 monographs.

Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1960), the Labor Red Banner (1948), World War of the I degree (1944), "Badge of Honor" (1951), medals.
