MIKHALEV Stefan Borisovich

Stefan Borisovich Mikhalev (10.03.1926, v. Korablevo, Shchumyachi District, Smolensk Region, Russia – 13.09.2014, Minsk), a scientist in the field of automated systems design and automation of production management processes. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1986), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1974), Professor (1982). Member of the Great Patriotic War.

Works in the field of the theory of creating automated systems for designing and automating production management processes in mechanical engineering and instrument making. Theoretically substantiated and developed the methodology for creating automated enterprise management systems, typing elements of automated systems. Conducted research on the structure of complex automated systems for product design and technology, their decomposition and integration.

Author of more than 100 scientific papers, incl. 6 monographs, 25 books and brochures.

State Prize of the USSR in 1984 for the development of theoretical foundations, the creation and widespread introduction of organizational management using computers.

Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1971, 1981), Friendship of Peoples (1986), "Badge of Honor" (1966), World War of the II degree (1985), medals.
