PESETSKY Stepan Stepanovich

Stepan Stepanovich Pesetsky (21.08.1949 - 08.04.2020) was born in v. Alekseyki, Ivatsevichi district, Brest region. S. Pesetsky - a scientist in the field of materials science, polymer technology and composite materials based on them. Corresponding Member (2014), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1992), Professor (2000). Excellence in Invention and Rationalization (1988).

The area of ​​scientific interests is the physical chemistry of polymers, chemical materials science and the technology of polymer composite materials. Contributed to the development of the theoretical foundations of the technology of polymers and copolymers of olefins, the technology of compacted mixtures and polymer alloys, reinforced plastics. Received important scientific results in the study of interfacial interactions and relaxation phenomena, rheological behavior and phase-structural transformations in multicomponent polymer-polymer and metal-polymer systems, nanocomposites.

Author of more than 400 scientific papers, including 9 monographs, 126 copyright certificates and patents.

Winner of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus in the field of science and technology (1975) for the work "Study of physical and chemical phenomena in the manufacture and operation of polymer and metal-polymer machine parts". Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2008) for the series of works "Chemical technology of import-substituting and advanced polymeric materials for technical purposes".
