STRELYUK Maryan Ivanovich

Maryan Ivanovich Strelyuk (06.01.1938, v. Mokhovichi, Lida district, Grodno region – 25.08.2000), energy scientist. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1989), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1986), Professor (1987).

Works on the theory and practice of the study of electrodynamic resistance of conductive structures. He developed a theory and methods for calculating the electrodynamic forces in spatial conductive systems of arbitrary configuration. With his participation, a theory of the dynamics of conductive structures with flexible wires under the influence of electrodynamic forces from short-circuit currents and environmental climatic factors was developed.

Author of more than 100 scientific papers, incl. monographs, 3 inventions.

Awarded with a medal.
