Yuvenaly Aleksandrovich Veys (05.01.1878, Yekaterinburg, Russia – 12.12.1950), a scientist in the field of mechanical engineering. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1940; Corresponding Member since 1936), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1937), Professor (1909). Honored Scientist of the BSSR (1940).
Work on the design and use of agricultural machinery and mechanisms. Designed and put into practice a number of agricultural machines, measuring and training devices.
Author of more than 90 scientific papers, incl. 2 monographs.
Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1940), medals.
