Tiau Wang Min (b. 11.02.1961, Ha Tinh, Vietnam) - a scientist in the field of bioorganic chemistry. Foreign Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2014), Doctor of Philosophical Sciences (1993), Professor.
The main scientific work in the field of biotechnology and biochemistry of biologically active substances. Conducts active work on cooperation with scientific and educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus in order to carry out joint research projects in the field of energy, biotechnology, chemistry and new materials aimed at creating new composite materials, modern medicinal products for plant protection, as well as improving energy security due to the diversification of various fuels. One of the initiators of the creation of a joint research laboratory of biotechnologies of natural and synthetic biologically active substances of the Center VANT - NAS of Belarus in order to promote joint research activities of relevant organizations in the field of biotechnology and biochemistry of biologically active substances; accelerate the commercial use of research results.
Author of more than 250 scientific papers, including 8 monographs, 6 patents.
Prize of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam (2005) for outstanding achievements in the field of science and technology in 2000–2005. National Prize of Vietnam in the fields of Science and Technology (2012) for the work "Mining to use reasonably the Vietnamese marine organisms resources to produce the added value for the life".
