Anatoly Pavlovich Likhatsevich (b. 21.03.1947, v. B. Krakotka, Slonim district, Grodno region), a scientist in the field of agricultural ecology. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (2003). Corresponding Member of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences (1996-2002), foreign member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1999), Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1994), Professor (2000).
Scientific work in the field of regulation of water regime of crops. He developed a theory of the ecological and economic optimization of the sprinkling regime of soil-non-uniform agricultural fields under unstable weather conditions. He offered for the conditions of Belarus an environmentally friendly resource-saving technology for sprinkling crops. Developed a monitoring structure in the decision support information system for the operation of reclamation systems and an information system for determining the order and scope of work on maintaining the reclamation systems in working condition, the decision support information system for managing the water regime of soils. Developed a method for a feasibility study of sprinkling and drip irrigation in open ground.
Author of more than 300 works, incl. 7 monographs, 4 textbooks and manuals, 13 copyright certificates and patents.
