Nikolay Vladimirovich Pavlyukevich (b. 18.05.1937, v. Bondari, Slutsk district, Minsk region), a scientist in the field of thermal physics. Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1994), Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences (1991).
Research in the field of kinetic theory of heat and mass transfer processes during phase transformations and in porous materials. The results obtained by him are used in the description of non-equilibrium transport phenomena in the processes of drying materials and when exposed to highly concentrated energy flows on porous and composite materials, in vacuum technology and thermal protection.
Author of 150 scientific papers, incl. 6 monographs, 6 inventions, 6 patents.
Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus named after academician A. V. Lykov in 2003 for the monograph "Introduction to the theory of heat and mass transfer in porous materials".
Awarded with the Order "Badge of Honor" (1980).
